Creates real draft orders
One click produces a native Shopify draft order — not an export, not a CSV to import later. From there it behaves like any other draft order in your admin: edit it, invoice it, complete it.
Attaches the B2B company
If you use Shopify B2B, the draft is created against the right company and location, so your wholesale price lists, payment terms and tax treatment apply exactly as they should.
Knows your catalog, continuously
Your products, variants, SKUs, barcodes and prices sync on install and stay current through Shopify's product webhooks, with a nightly backstop. A product added this morning is matchable this afternoon.
Checks POs against your price list
When the price on a purchase order disagrees with your catalog, the line is flagged and the difference is carried onto the draft order as a note — visible, never silently overwritten.
Lives in your admin
An embedded app: your staff sign in with their normal Shopify accounts, with no separate passwords or user management, and Shopify's own staff permissions apply.
Billed through Shopify
The subscription appears on your regular Shopify invoice and is cancelled from the app. No separate card, no separate account.
When it isn't sure, it asks
Reading a purchase order is the easy half. Knowing when you have read it wrong is the half that decides whether you can trust it with order entry.
"Wool Runner NZ hthr gry 9" fits two products — the standard and the Mid version — and the purchase order doesn't say which. So POClerk doesn't choose. The line is held, the reason is written in plain words, and every candidate from your catalog is offered with its SKU and price.
Pick the right one and tick remember this for this customer, and that buyer's shorthand is entered automatically on every future purchase order from them. Correct it once; the work shrinks every week.

Setting it up takes about five minutes
Install from the Shopify App Store. POClerk reads your catalog once on install — a few minutes for a large store — and then keeps itself current.
Your store gets its own purchase-order address. Forward POs to it, set up an auto-forward rule from your sales inbox, or give it to buyers so they send there directly.

What it needs from your store, and why
POClerk asks for the narrowest set of permissions that lets it do the job, and nothing beyond them.

Customer names and email addresses are protected customer data under Shopify's rules; POClerk holds Shopify's approval to use those fields and uses them only to enter and review orders. Full detail in the privacy policy.
How it compares to the alternatives you already have
vs. retyping them yourself
The honest baseline for most shops. It works, and it costs someone twenty minutes an order plus the occasional wrong size shipped. POClerk's case is that it holds what it isn't sure about, so the errors that remain are visible ones.
vs. a buyer portal
Portals ask your customers to change how they order, which is why so many wholesale buyers quietly keep emailing. POClerk requires nothing from them at all — they carry on sending the same email.
vs. a CSV importer
Importers handle the last step, once someone has already produced a clean spreadsheet with your SKUs in it. The work is the step before that — reading a document and deciding what each line means.

Extraction tools return fields. They don't know your catalog, so they can't tell you that "WR NZ Mid stony cream 8" is a product you sell, or that it fits two of them. That matching, and knowing when it is uncertain, is the whole job.
