POClerk · Support
A real person answers.
Support is handled directly by the person who built POClerk. Every message gets a real answer within one business day — Monday to Friday, European hours — and usually much faster.
General support
Setup, a purchase-order format that isn't reading well, billing, or anything that looks wrong. Sending the document that gave you trouble is the fastest route to a fix.
Privacy & data requests
Access, correction, export or deletion of your data, and anything else covered by the privacy policy.
Ideas & feedback
A format we should read, something confusing, a feature you need. It goes straight to the person building it — early merchants shape what gets made next.
While the founding cohort is open, expect same-day, hands-on help: the first stores get white-glove treatment by design. There is no phone line and no live chat — a solo operation that promised either would be lying.
Frequently asked
Is there a free trial?
Better — a free start. Your first 10 purchase orders are free, with no card and no time limit. They don't expire, so you can use them at your own pace on your own real POs.
Once those 10 are used, new purchase orders wait in your inbox. Pick a plan before their originals expire under your retention setting (90 days by default); after expiry, send them again.
What happens if I go over my plan's monthly orders?
Nothing breaks and no purchase order is ever dropped. Plans include 150 (Starter) or 500 (Growth) orders over a rolling 30 days.
The first time you reach your limit, a one-time grace of 20 extra orders kicks in automatically. Past that, new POs wait in your inbox; upgrade before their originals expire under your retention setting and they process themselves.
What does POClerk do when it isn't sure about a line?
It holds the line and tells you why, in plain words — "fits two products, the PO doesn't say which", "PO price differs from your catalog", "the scan was unreadable here".
Held lines sit beside the original document so you can fix them in a click or two. POClerk never silently guesses: a line either matches with confidence, or it waits for you.
Do I have to correct the same thing every time?
Not for a buyer's own item codes. Fix a line that carries one, tick "remember this for this customer", and that code is entered automatically on every future purchase order from them.
The memory is per customer, listed in Settings, and yours to delete at any time.
How accurate is it really?
On our benchmark — four real store catalogs (24,114 product variants) and purchase orders in thirteen formats, from clean PDFs to phone photos — POClerk entered over 99% of lines correctly. Everything it could not be sure of was held and flagged, not guessed.
That figure describes our test corpus, not a promise about any specific catalog — which is exactly what your free first 10 orders are for: try it on your own POs and check every line against the source, side by side.
Do my buyers have to change anything?
No — that's the point. They keep sending the same emails, PDFs and spreadsheets they always have. You forward those to your POClerk address, or give buyers the address to send to directly. You can also drag and drop files straight into the app: PDF, Excel, CSV, photos and scans, or plain email text.
Sending directly has one advantage: POClerk recognises a customer by the address a purchase order comes from, so remembered codes, autopilot and the confirmation reply follow that buyer. A PO you forward by hand arrives from your own address.
Inbound mail is checked against sender authentication. If a legitimate forwarder of yours gets rejected, one setting relaxes the check — write in and we'll sort it.
How big a purchase order can it read?
Bigger than any real one. PDFs up to 17 MB and 100 pages, photos and scans up to 7 MB, and spreadsheets, CSV files or email text up to about 300,000 characters — several times the longest wholesale order we have seen.
Anything over those limits is turned away with a note in your inbox rather than half-read, and it costs you nothing: it never counts against your orders. If a genuine PO is that large, split it into two files and send them separately.
Where is my data stored, and for how long?
On Cloudflare's platform, with the database and files stored in Cloudflare's Eastern Europe region. Original PO emails and attachments are deleted automatically after a retention window you control — 90 days by default, adjustable from 7 to 365 days.
The line-by-line detail of each PO — quantities, item codes, prices, match results and review notes — is deleted automatically 24 months after the PO arrived. The order itself stays reviewable while the app is installed: buyer, PO number and date, line counts, order value and the draft-order reference.
PO content is read by one AI provider (Anthropic) and is not used to train AI models. We never sell data or use it for marketing.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Uninstalling cuts POClerk's access to your store immediately. About 48 hours later, Shopify sends the standard deletion signal and everything is erased — every file and every database record for your store. Deleted records drop out of the database's automatic restore history within 30 days; that history is used only to recover the service from a failure.
Draft orders POClerk already created are part of your Shopify store and stay yours.
